So, here is a pic of my new tattoo!
It says Ephesians 1:7-which says " In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace."
The dogwood flower represents Jesus' sacrafice for us. The flower itself represents the cross and the indention of each petal represents the nails. The center of the flower represents the crown of thorns.
Love your tattoo, It is also believed that the dogwood tree use to grow as tall as the oak tree and that the wood itself was the wood the cross was made from so that after Christ was sacrificed God made it so that the tree would never grow large enough to make a cross again.
