Pumpkin Patch

So, due to allergies we aren't able to have a live Christmas tree in our home. Growing up one of my favorite things to do during the holidays was to go with my mom, dad, and sisters to a tree farm and pick out a Christmas tree. Unfortunately Adley wont be able to experience that, so Andrew and I decided that we would go to the pumpkin patch every fall and let herpick out a pumpkin that we can carve together.

We visited Lyda Farms in Hendersonville, NC. They had farm animals, and a big hay bug kids could crawl through, not to mention endless pumpkin, apple and fresh produce selection. Adley enjoyed it so much, and so did Andrew and I. The people there were so friendly and we got the best apple fritter i have ever eaten!

We were so glad we got out of the house and the every day routine of things and did a fun family activity. It just reminds you thata God has created all these beautiful things for us, we have to go out and enjoy them with the people we love!
